Learning about the scope, goals and methods in musicology.
Traditional division of musicology on the systematic and historical part and areas of research.
Individual musicological sub-disciplines: theory of music, aesthetics, analysis, acoustics, auditory physiology, psychology, sociology, linguistics, economy, ethnomusicology, pedagogics etc.
Historical development of historical musicology.
Musicology in Slovenia.
The tutorial includes 20 hours of field practice in the form of visits to institutions related to music and musicology.
